Who is Adam Raven?
Adam is a Wilderness Guide, Fishing Guide, college professor and conservation photographer who has spent a good part of his life in the woods and field of the northeast from Martha’s Vineyard to the Gaspe’ He has traveled from Peru to Alaska and love to experience the natural world as much as he can. He is often joined by his dog Ayashe and wife Autumn Birt.
His primary focus is on the awareness, preservation and photographic documentation of the environment. From a young age he was brought up with a closeness and spiritual connection to the natural world. His desire to protect what he holds dear resonates in his guiding and photography classes, for the entire purpose of his passion is to show people what he sees himself, that we are not separate from the environment…but very much part of it.
He is also a Wilderness first responder, Pet First Responder, licensed pilot, scuba diver and has been educated in forestry, conservation law and Aquatic resources.
