Woofhowl…welcome to our section on No Map Nomads. Our companions, Adam and Autumn figured that
we are important enough to have our own sections so gave us this one all our own.
We are Cairn Terriers, I, Ayashe was born on 11/10/11 in Clinton Maine to a nice older couple. When I was just a 6 weeks old, Adam came and visited with me, He had a spiffy camera that I just HAD TO HAVE!! I convinced him to let me come home so I would have ample opportunity to eat the camera. Nemo, my adventure brother was born in April of 2002 in Missouri. He was the runt of the litter and purchased with a credit card and flown all the way to Maine in the hold of a plane to be the companion to his now spirit brother Sparky who at the time tried to eat him. He has been kind of “special” since.
Fast forward three long years since I joined Nemo and we have had more fun than you could imagine. We have hiked all over the northeast, camped, motorcycled, snowmobiled, skied, sledded, got to drive in a WW2 Jeep, kayaked, canoed and ridden on a train…..I’m hoping to skydive at some point…but doubt my protectors will let me “sniff :(”
I love trying to eat frogs, mice and shrews. All sticks are snakes and every walk in the woods I am bitten so I often yelp. I love to swim, climb and hunt. Nemo prefers to constantly keep Autumn in sight and howls incessantly when she is away. His activities involve rolling in wonderfully smelly thing on the ground, sleeping, eating and vomiting whatever tasty thing he wishes to eat again…I hope to be so cool when I am his age!
