It’s been rather rare as of recent that I contribute any meaningful post to No Map Nomads. The truth is though that since I lost my Dragon exactly one year ago, much of my desires and dreams have gone with him. Weifarer is in a similar state, but deals with such stress by being productive. The fact still remains that to experience the loss of a loved one changes a person for good. Sometimes it is for the better, and sometimes it’s for the worst. In light of the CT shootings we all need to send our thoughts and prayers to those who lost their children, and even the children who lost their teachers. Although I feel for those lost, the real pain and suffering will be felt by those who are left behind. They will never move on, never forget, they will be changed. However we also never let them forget the good, the happiness, and the joy for that is what keep us going day after day.
